About Us

PipeMcKay Equipment’s beginnings were humble like many businesses. In April 1978, Jerry McKay started his business working from home as a manufacturer’s representative, selling and servicing oil and gas process equipment.

McKay Equipment was incorporated in 1980. Further growth, through our dedication to customer satisfaction, made it possible to move to our current location at 6337 Westmoor Road in Odessa, Texas. Despite a recessed oilfield market, Jerry McKay had a vision for McKay Equipment and its future in the oilfield industry.Tank

In 1991, we applied for and received our A.S.M.E. Code stamp and registry with the National Board for designing and manufacturing oil and gas process equipment. Currently, we have close to 25 employees and both domestic and international clients.

Jerry McKay’s dedication to customer satisfaction and expertise has roots going back to his military service and 13 years with Black, Sivalls, and Bryson. He has surrounded himself with quality employees, ensuring the consumer the highest quality products and service.
